Our clients wanted to breathe new life into their home while preserving its connection to the neighborhood. The original structure was largely stripped down, with only a few walls left intact, and the entire space was reimagined through a gut renovation. The project included underpinning the basement to maximize usable space, rebuilding the interior, and adding a second floor. The design was inspired by Scandinavian aesthetics, with a clean, minimalist approach to both the interior and exterior. The result was a completely transformed home that felt fresh and modern, with an open, airy layout and a striking design that blended contemporary features with timeless elegance.

Throughout the project, we faced several challenges, one of the most complex being the close proximity to the neighboring property. This required us to carefully navigate construction logistics while maintaining proper fire separation standards, ensuring both safety and compliance with local regulations. The tight space made the construction process more intricate, but we worked diligently to manage the project’s details while minimizing disruption to the neighboring properties.

The clients were incredibly pleased with the outcome of the renovation. The home now feels entirely new, with the Scandinavian-inspired design creating a light, functional, and stylish living space. The newly renovated basement was separated to become a rental unit, providing the clients with an additional income stream. The project was completed with a striking exterior that featured a high-pitched metal roof that extended seamlessly into metal siding, giving the home a bold and contemporary look. A few months after the renovation, landscaping was finished, completing the transformation and enhancing the overall curb appeal of this stunning new home.
